Would be nice if Scaler could do the following:

  • Suggest a vocal melody based on the chord progression
  • Make a Trance-like arp based on the chord progression
  • Suggest a bass line based on the chord progression

The Phrases more than does this in that it will offer you chord based and scale based melodies based on the chord you are playing!

Have you tried the arp? Or even rhythms and performances? They do exactly that.

I haven’t tried the Beta because it won’t show up in Reaper. I can’t demo it.
I’ll have to investigate Phrases, sounds good.
Its launching tomorrow (16th) isn’t it?
