I have been trying to get the signal and sound from the new midi keyboard. Tried everything and there is no sound. Then I went to Akai’s own site and it said there were problems with Ventura. That was really unpleasant news.
I always wait 4-6 months after a MacOS release before I update. There is unfortunately always hardware and software issues with third party products
Akai is really behind. I dug out an old 2013 Mac with Catalina as the operating system, and it immediately recognized the midi-touch. I asked about support, and there was no information on when even Monterey and Ventura will be fully supported. I thought it would take at least a year. I’m now reinstalling my old warhorse and reformatting Catalina is in progress.
