Changing tempo on arpeggios in Scaler 2

Hi,
New to Scaler 2 here. Question: I’ve been playing with the arpeggio patterns in Scaler 2. I found a pattern I liked and loaded it into my DAW, Studio One. The song in the DAW shows a 120bpm tempo, even though the actual songs tempo is 92bpm. How do I match the Scaler arpeggios to synch up with my song?
Thanks,
Torsten

That should happen automatically. Once you Drag and Drop MIDI to your DAW it should conform to you BPM. What is your DAW, what is your OS, what version of Scaler are you using?

I’m using Scaler2 with Studio One 6. My question was since my DAW BPM for this particular song was set at 120BPM even though the song itself is at 92BPM, I can’t change the BPM of my song to 92 because it will totally mess up the song. So I need to manually manipulate Scaler2(probably in Scaler2 itself) to get the Scaler2 arpeggios at 92BPM.

I think what is happening is Studio One is reading tempo data from the midi. There will be a setting to turn this off so the DAW doesn’t switch to 120 BPM. Just change your DAW tempo to 92 and Scaler will Sync.

Studio One defaults to 120bpm, so when you load or record tracks, it will automatically display 120bpm unless you manually change it before you start recording. Once you record tracks, Studio One will continue to show 120bpm no matter if you actually record you tracks at a slower or faster rate. So my problem is, my song displays 120bpm in Studio One even though it is 92bpm. I need to be able to change Scaler2 manually to 92bpm so I can use the Scaler2 arpeggios in my song. Is there a setting in Scaler2 where I can change the bpm manually and then import these arpeggios into my song without Scaler2 recognizing the 120bpm in Studio One. If Scaler2 automatically synchs to the bpm of the song (120 in Studio One) once I try to load it, I’m screwed.

Is there no way to change the tempo in Studio One to your actual tempo without it screwing with the playback rate of tracks you’ve already recorded? I don’t know how to do it in Studio One but this is reasonably easy in Nuendo. I would assume that Studio One has some way of doing that, no?

This makes no sense to me. There is no DAW that behaves like this. No one could use it. MIDI as long as it’s recorded on the beat will just change to fit the tempo. I’ve change tempo after recording countless times. Something is amiss on your set up.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I’m going to delve into my issue this weekend and let you all know what I find out.
