Commodore-64

Are there any C-64 users on the forum? or memories on the subject. I used to own a C-64, but I never made music with it as a kid. I mostly just played games. Nice video and the C-64 has Unique sounds. Nostalgia in the air. Scaler still available for that man. :grinning:

Yes, I had it and I used to make music, but without a MIDI keyboard, just using the Commodore one, but the sound was so poor compared to the upright piano of my mother, that I abandoned it

Nowadays, you can use emulator plugins if you like that sound

Yeah. I had The Advanced Music System by Firebird software on cassette. Cost a fortune in them days.

I feel in love with music because of the original C64 composers in Rob Hubbard, David Whittaker and Martin Galway. The SID chip was one of the greatest analogue chips and still is used in music today. The Sidstation by Elektron is one of my favourite synths! 4 SID chips in one!
