Development Team Expanding Scaler 2 with Gospel Jazz and Blues Music Language Integration

As an avid user of Scaler 2, I’ve found the plugin to be an invaluable tool in my production workflow. The current range of presets and chord progressions are impressive, yet I believe there’s an opportunity to expand the musical language within the plugin to better serve producers working in genres like Gospel, Jazz, and Blues. I suggest expanding Scaler 2’s capabilities by integrating presets, chord progressions, and scales specifically tailored to Gospel Jazz and Blues music. This could be achieved through a potential collaboration with Gospel Producers, a company renowned for their expertise in this space. Their synth VST, Peculiar Sounds, developed with the legendary Doobie Powell, is a testament to their deep understanding and commitment to Gospel music and its influence across various genres.

Given that both Scaler 2 and Peculiar Sounds are developed using Logic Pro, this collaboration feels like a natural fit. The synergy between the two could lead to the creation of presets and features that would be highly beneficial for producers like myself, who rely on Scaler 2 for our creative work.

Expanded Musical Vocabulary: By incorporating elements from Gospel, Jazz, and Blues language/lexicon, Scaler 2 could offer a more diverse and richer set of tools for users. This would enhance its appeal to producers working within these genres or those looking to incorporate these styles into their music and speed up the workflow.

  1. Increased Accessibility: Updating and expanding the preset library would make Scaler 2 more accessible to a broader audience, particularly those within the Gospel music community, who may be looking for a tool that resonates more closely with their musical needs.

  2. Creative Inspiration: Collaborating with Gospel Producers and drawing on the expertise of figures like Doobie Powell could lead to innovative new features, progressions, and sounds that inspire users to explore new musical directions.

Scaler 2 has already established itself as a powerful tool in the music production community, and expanding its capabilities to include a more robust offering for Gospel, Jazz, and Blues genres would only solidify its standing. I, along with many other producers who use Scaler 2, would greatly appreciate these additions and believe they would attract new users who are currently underserved by the existing preset library.

Thank you for considering this feature request, and I look forward to seeing how Scaler 2 continues to evolve in the future.
