Does Audio detection work on trial version?

Evaluating Scaler 2.7 on Studio One 5.5 Windows. Cannot get audio detection to work. Is that a trial limitation or does it just not work with my combination? Trial recording, DnD etc?

Should work just fine. Maybe you need to adjust the inout slider located where it says audio. It’s a tiny blue dot and should be adjusted till Scaler sees the audio.
