HELP: Audition chords and hear the audio played by external instrument?

I can’t seem to configure my midi tracks in ableton to audition chords from Scaler and hear them sent out to my external instrument. I have a Novation peak I would like to hear the chords play thought instead of the internal sounds on Scaler. Any help would be appreciated.

This should get you hooked up. It starts from hooking up the synth to Ableton Live — USING EXT. SYNTH or here — EXT. SYNTH
Once that is done then just set the input of the Ext. MIDI track to SCALER2 same as you would for a VST.

Audio from the synth comes into Live through your audio interface.
