You are absolutely right, I was sloppy :slight_smile: - here’s the proper guide:

FL Studio context.
Assumes that Scaler’s pkg was already installed.

  1. Log in to Plugin Boutique account at VST Plugins, Synth Presets, Effects, Virtual Instruments, Music,

  2. Go to ‘My Account’ menu, then ‘My Products’ and find Scaler section,

  3. ctrl + click on ‘scaler2.license’ file and save it to a safe location (the one you back up :wink:)

  4. [Optional - if you haven’t done it before] Open FL Studio and go to Options → Manage Plugins

  5. [Optional - if you haven’t done it before] Click ‘Find more plugins’ and make sure Scaler AU/VST/VST3 gets found,

  6. Expand Plugin → Generators → VST section and find Scaler 2 there

  7. Drag and drop Scaler to the channel rack (Scaler window will open up)

  8. Click on blue Scaler icon and choose ‘Registration’, then ‘Register a license file’

  9. You will be asked to point to license file → Go to the location where you saved it in step 3.

  10. You will be asked to provide email account you use to log in to Plugin Boutique
