I found this through the iPad app “ChordMaps2”, which is complementary to Scaler, when you connect the iPad via MIDI to the computer/DAW. Sometimes I feed ChordMaps2 MIDI into Scaler, to record (detect) it and organize it for contextual replay or for playing out Scaler’s expressions/performances/phrases/melodies etc.
As a musical newbie, I found Steve Mugglin’s way of explaining stuff super helpful. Even bought some of his e-books.
