Midi Capture of a performance not capturing properly

I am playing a Fmin11 with the expression pattern Accento. When I midi capture the chord for about 2 seconds and drag it into Logic, it does not play as it sounds. Not sure if this is a bug or something I may be doing wrong.

Hi @okjohn and Welcome,
are you dragging the captured midi to a different track?
Or are you dragging the midi to a track where Scaler is currently in use? If so then make sure to disable the expression on the track you dropped the MIDI because otherwise Scaler will articulate the already articulated content, and thus will sound different.
