"Midi FX"?

I’ve looked around but can’t seem to find an answer to this:
Using Scaler 2.5 on Ableton - and once I load it, I can’t actually load another instrument on the same track for it to control. I know I’m missing something and would appreciate the right pointer.
To be clear - I cant find the “midi fx” option, and I find myself needing to open 2 midi tracks - one for Scaler, the 2nd for the instruments Scaler controls. Looking at the various tutorials makes it visible that’s not the way to go but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
thanks !

ok, step by step…
So it seems the thing is to load Scaler Audio - and then it actually allows you to load in instrument.
But now I’m missing the chords for some reason…And still no “midi fx” optionCapture2

There are plenty of tutorials about this as well as videos but in a nut shell - in Live you load Scaler on 1 track. You load the instrument you want to control on another track and route Scaler to that track. Play Scaler to control the instrument. This is because Ableton does not allow 3rd Party MIDI FX. Use the VST or VST3 versions of Scaler.
MIDI FX works in Logic on Mac but that’s a whole different story.

Ah Ha. Thanks.
So that’s actually what I’m doing, but I thought I was wrong…
Thanks for clearing this one up!
