New multi out feature for multiple virtual instrument tracks?

Hello, I cannot seem to get the new multi feature to work in Cubase and I’m okay with that because I have tracks for every instrument anyways. I don’t typically work with a kontakt multi out scenario. So my question is, can I use this feature with 5 separate vst tracks instead of one multi out Kontakt?

Yes you can. I do it in Cubase all the time. I recall there is a little trick involved but I’m not at my computer at the moment.
I do remember it involved the Input Transformer on the receiving track. I’ll check when I get home.

Here is a link to a thread that I replied with the same solution. You use the input transformer on the track you are using the instrument on.

Example: Scaler on track 1
Kontakt on Track 2 set to receive on MIDI channel 2 (Lowest note)
Synth on Track 3 set to receive on MIDI Channel 3 (Next highest note)
Etc.
