Good spot, thanks for sharing Claudio. Delia Derbyshire at the BBC is one of the all time greatest - another woman from the same time where women dominated the synth vaults at the BBC.

There’s an absolutely fascinating doco somewhere about it but in those days the composer wrote the score and gave it to an arranger (in this case Dalia) who had to transcribe it note for note using synthesis patching. She was credited for it for using the filter and massive legato slide to give it that sound. They then had to cut note for note on a tape and pit it all back together. Hence the reason the sound quality is so bad on the original but you could (and they could) never re-create it.
