Hi there! I’m facing a very annoying issue on Logic Pro for iPad.
When using ScalerControl2 as MIDI FX, no matter how I resize the AUv3 window, the piano is always hidden and there is no way to access it. I’m attaching a screenshot of the issue, I didn’t test other DAWs. I’m using a 11 inch 2024 iPad Air (M2).
I was suggested on another forum to rotate the tablet in portrait mode but this is very annoying. Is there a fix planned for this? Thanks!
I would like to upload a screenshot but I can’t find a way on this forum, upload not working, links are not allowed…
Hi @unlink no one’s been truly satisfied with the way Scaler 2 on the iPad works. We had lots of challenges and we managed to get every feature and function working but there were compromises like the one you point out. The solution is a complete revamp from the ground up with the iPad real estate and interactivity considered from the get go - that’s done. We’re really excited to share what we’ve got. Aiming for Q4, 2024
If you go to settings on your iPad, go into the Display & Settings section, then choose Display Zoom and change to More Space it will fit everything, including the piano. This is only available on recent, higher end iPads.
