It’s not a huge deal, but because Scaler is 1.75gb and about half of that appears to be plugins, it would be nice to be able to not install plugin versions I don’t need (on a Mac). I’m never going to use an AAX version of Scaler, for example. Most packages allow you to untick the box for these versions. Hopefully that wouldn’t be too much work.

You are correct most installers allow for checking wanted plugins but you can always go into the plugin folders and delete those yourself. You cam find the AAX plugins at Library>Application Support>Avid>Audio>Plug-ins.
The plugins themselves are 105MB so not that big. The majority of that 1.75gb is the sounds which they all share.
