Question regarding section C

Hi ! I bought Scaler 2 yesterday and I really like it so far.

I’m trying to ‘‘record’’ a pattern in section C as shown in the video below :

@17;55, I do exactly the same and the pattern is not recording.

Same thing if you look @ 4:20, he plays a progression (in section B) and it is recorded in section C.

I’ve been looking for hours.
