Recording midi to track in Logic Pro

Hi
I’m recording midi in Logic Pro, I have an instance of scaler on the first Analog Lab track with record midi to track here enabled and when I play Scaler, I see the chords in the piano roll.
If I duplicate this track then play Scaler with the same track settings, I only see the note in the piano roll when I play Scaler and not the chords, anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Not sure what you mean by duplicate and what is triggering the single note in Scaler? What is Scaler doing? What happens if when trying to duplicate you hold the option key, click on a track and drag it to another slot (channel) and duplicate it that way?

Scaler is a midi FX on my track, triggered by my midi keyboard. I option click & drag the track to duplicate it, so i have a copy of the track with scaler as a midi FX on it.
I forgot to add, the recorded midi region on the new track automatically disappears when recording stops ( on the duplicated track with Scaler on it )

This looks like a Logic issue not a Scaler issue. Are you using VCA / Groups on your Logic mixer channels? Then you are not duplicating the channel as a clone but rather the same channel. Remove it from a group and you will get different results. Hope that helps.

I’ve just figured out, if I have input monitoring selected on the first track, then play Scaler on the copied track, I can play and see the chords ( I mute the first track so I only hear Scaler on the copied track )
If I change the chords in Scaler on the copied track it also changes them in Scaler on the first track is that normal behaviour?
I don’t have any VCA/Groups created in my project.

Cheers
