Is there a way to lock a pattern with a particular performance? i.e., If you want the bass to play this performance on pattern 1, but another performance for the bass is SAVED in pattern 2 so that we don’t have to send a command.

You can configure different performance settings, not only on per chord bases, but also for the whole pattern. And if you keep the chord progressions the same across patterns, you can have your same chord progression expressed via different performances…
