I can no longer use scaler as everytime I try it freezes reaper. I haven’t changed anything in the way I was using it and it was working fine in the previous version.
Had the same problem in a bygone Scaler version. And after some jugling around with VST directories it worked and I’ve used it in a song all day. But Reaper is a bit tempestious, now it found it has a gripe with my beloved RoyalCompressor in staid, when I load a saved song with RoyalC on it, it neatly crashes. Since both my Maschine 2.0 and Ableton 10 have no issues, I guess Reaper in both cases was to blame. But Reaper is a genious and geniouses are in my book allowed to be tempestious…
I do not face any issues using Scaler 2.2 with Reaper. I am on version 6.15. Which version are you on?
I am version 6.19, after some research I found that it is the audio input on scaler which causes the crashes. I have to turn this off as soon as I open scaler to avoid it crashing reaper.
