Scaler 2 Logic Pro X not keeping Licence Registration (possibly solved)

Purchased the Scaler 2 upgrade from Scaler and have installed V2.04 update.

If I launch Logic and insert an instance of Scaler 2, (either Scaler2.component, ScalerAudio2.component or ScalerControl2.component) the registration field shows as unregistered.

If I register my licence file (has to be done separately for each component type!!) then they will stay registered whilst open, but if I take them out of the session and then insert them again, or next time I launch Logic, they are all unregistered again.

Anyone else or any ideas.

I’m on a very similar setup and all working for me. I did have Scaler 1 but can’t see that being relavent

I have Scaler1 installed as well. Have you un-installed Scaler1, and if so was it before or after installing 2?

I think I’ve found the problem.

I assume the plugin must check the registration online each time it’s used.

I wasn’t waiting long enough after loading. If I wait a little while after loading it shows as registered.

Hi @ozbusa

you are right, there is a delay before the license is validated, so if you open the popup early it looks like you are unregistered.

We have added this to the list, it is going to be fixed in the next few days.

Thanks for reporting,

Good to know for sure.

Thanks.
