Scaler 2: put the preference closer at the same position as the opener?

  • open preferences by clicking on the small icon
  • now close the preferences

Do you notice that you have to switch between two positions with the mouse? When checking or changing things quickly for ‘playback’, I have to open and close the preferences often, it’s quite a lot more mouse movement and change of positions were you have to click.

Why not putting the closer to the right side of the preferences and the search to the left? The closer and opener would have almost the same position. Less movement when quickly checking things and you have always the same position. Opinions?

Makes sense. We have thought of this. Just not around to it yet. The GUI will get some focus at some stage. Would love to review it in a dedicated round table session and address a bunch of issues. Thanks.
