Scaler and UJAM Virtual Pianist driving everything

Having eventually found a substitute for Broomstick Bass (Jamstix + one UJAM bass), and having found the marvel of the UJAM pianist arranger, I am having a lot of fun

Here is an example

The Scaler status

The UJAM pianist

The UJAM bassist

and the routing

As you see, Scaler send chords to the pianist, and a MIDI track linked with my keyboard is used to change the pianist riffs (the octave on the left, with one yellow key)

The UJAM bass is driven by Scaler and it sounds automatically: it means that it changes its rhythm in parallel with the pianist

Jamstix instead is driven by the UJAM pianist, so when I use the Pitch and the Modulation rollers in my keyboard I also push the drummer to change its riffs and articulations (it is sensible to the velocity, and to the amount of notes/time maybe)

I also added the Hammond to understand if the UJAM Virtual Pianist can drive external plugins and it can!

So you can add for example a Soundpaint brass ensemble to produce amazing funky vibes, but not only that

And here is Sample

Bass and drums are not so loud, so you should be able to listen to the keyboard-work better

Now a little note: I said in the past that having too much help from plugins is boring

Well, I have to correct myself, because the “arranger” I set up is a lot of fun, and I am more stimulated now to add something original onto it, for example my voice and a good text

But even without that, I realized that I always wanted an arranger, since I saw my uncle’s one in the seventies, and now I have it

Composing is too much difficult for me, and learning multiple instruments is just impossible even with 2 lives at hand (that I don’t have)
