I has 2 Scaler2 open on 2 different tracks in Ableton Live 10.1.13. I had a session going in one and tried to sync the other to it. Live just crash instantly pushing the sync after choosing what I wanted to sync.
I then reopened and tried export and import session and that works fine.

Using the export/import session is probably the best workaround you could find in the meantime. 
Yep, that’s what I was doing now. Works great. However, I tested sync again in the same setup and it worked as it was supposed to. I’ll do a few more tests to see if it was a fluke or not.
I think this is the best idea for a plugin for chords but I am really disgusted because it crashes every time. I can’t open it for more than a minute without them crashing. As soon as I’m in chord mode and touch a key, it’s over. It kills my creativity I can’t stand it anymore.
I work with Studio One 5 and it also crashed on version 4.
I have the impression that there is a memory leak, it is very greedy.
What system are you running? I use it on an
older iMac and I haven’t noticed any issues for CPU. After that one crash I haven’t had anymore. OS High Sierra.

I’m working on Studio One 5 and Maschine Mk3.
Scaler 1 and 2 has a big performance problem.
I’m sure it can get better because it’s a really great plugins for creativity.
Scaler version 1 is a little more stable but also crashes but less often.
Can you duplicate the crash? Is it one thing you do like sync or others?
