ScalerAudio 2 - 2.4 Crashed Validation in Logic ProX 10.6.3

please have a look at this issue, and let me know if there’s any more info or actions you need from my side

The plugin worked sweet like a baby on 2.3, but it will not validate after upgrade to 2.4. Below is the validation crash report.

Scaler is still having some compatibility issue with M1 macs. Have you tried running Logic Pro using the rosetta mode?

Logic Pro X already runs in Rosetta mode - otherwise iZotope won’t work at all :no_mouth:

But if it’s a well known issue, then I’ll just wait for the solution - I can still use Scaler 2.4 and I haven’t figured out what I’m missing.

From the report it seems “ScalerAudio” doesn’t pass the validation so you are not missing on anything (all the features are contained in Scaler).
ScalerAudio is there so you can set it up onto an audio track if needed, whereas Scaler requires an “instrument track”.

We are working on this and hoping it will be fixed for the next update.

Any update on this error/crash?

I also have a Mac Mini M1 with 16GB ram running the latest macOS (Monterey 12.1) with Logic Pro 10.7.1 and just got this error when installing Scaler 2.5. I disabled the audio unit and it works.

I’ve got the exact same set up as @monster67 but I can’t seem to figure out why my Oxford Inflator keeps crashing during validation. SOS!!

*note, I’m running Logic in Rosetta
