Since Scaler owners had to pay for upgrades from 1 to 2... Buy now and pay again for 3 or what?

Since Scaler owners had to pay for upgrades from 1 to 2… If I buy the current version, does that mean I have to pay again for 3?

My guess would be yes it will cost although there might be a grace period. However, I don’t believe version 3 is anytime soon. Certainly not before next year.
I’m sure the Devs will clarify.
