BTW, some guys in the Cantabile forum argued that those Sample rates are ludicrous making their systems sluggish
I am unable to tell if they are just trolls, or if they are right, so can somebody explain to me what’s the use for Sample rates higher than 1950, and a latency lower than 10?
Hi Claudio.
Can it be used with two monitors? One with Reaper and the other with Youtube? AsioAll only supports audio output through one application. I use FlexAsio and it works fine for me.
Yes. For me, It’s interesting because without leaving one application you can listen to the sound of the other. For example, using Reaper on one monitor and watching a video tutorial on the other. You don’t need to leave one application to listen to the other.
Well, in that case, you can also use the WASAPI non-exclusive mode
Nevertheless, the reason why ASIO (and WASAPI exclusive mode) was created is exactly to isolate the audio-card to just one task that is making/playing music
Otherwise, both the stress on the system and the latency increase
