User-Defined Phrase-Editing - Synfire-like Figure-Editing

Sorry for this little OT

I have a plugin, Riffer 3, that is gathering dust in my cyber-cellar
if somebody wants it, I’ll give it away for free

Yep, have that one too. Never got much use.

as a matter of fact, I prefer adding randomness with my hands on the keyboard
:grinning:

I find it actually very difficult to create true randomness with my hands on the keyboard. There are very reliable, repeated patterns of disharmony in everything, which makes it predictable, not random :-/

Jamieh - one positive about Rapid Composer is that the developer is very helpful and responsive. Drop him an email if there are features locked in the demo you want to try and I would expect he will help you out.

Working on that right now. Thanks!

Hi Jamie.
I have used the Markov generator in RapidCompser quite a bit and I like it as a good staring point.

Scaler and RC go together very well.

Here’s an example of using Markov in RC: https://youtu.be/o6FY2OLi3Ts
Cheers.
Mike.

Thanks Mike. I’ve seen that video which got me going on trying RC. The Markov does seem to be a good starting point. I used it a bit on a twang guitar patch and came up with a Morricone kind of vibe.
