What is the best setup for Scaler/Cubase Orchestral work?

I am just fathoming this all out, very much a newbie. My general aim with Scaler is to use it put together some chords/ inversions/sequence, drag and drop to Cubase then refine the voicings and timing there? Is this the best way to use Scaler?
