Will Scaler 2 be an independent new plugin whereby I mean will it still be possible to use Scaler vrs 1 at the same time on your DAW as well. Therefore you would be able to select either Scaler 1 or Scaler 2 from the list of available Vst plug ins and apply either to different tracks on a project?

Yes, Scaler2 will be a separate plugin, it will not override Scaler1 so you will be able to keep both.
