In the meantime I opened my PC so I was able to find where it was and take the screenshots.
Concerning the weather , it is 14Ā°C and rainy in Montreal with a daily max of 21Ā°C.

Miki stepped forward while preparing a short tutorial. Mike is great
Okay. I agree that they sound great, but changing the lyrics is not an easy thing, hehe
Make a track in your DAW where you put Opus/Backup Singers as an instrument and put a chord progression on it (e.g. one you take from Scaler)
Now, in the instrument, the first thing that seems appropriate to me is that you choose the Browser WB Multi folder in Opus/Backup Singers. There you have only one option: HBS WB Multi_Sus
Then go to the Play tab
In the Play tab, now click on WordBuilder. You will see other options (including at the bottom, your midi file that they will sing over), the options are the ones that allow you to edit the lyrics. I must tell you that for me it is not really practical, since, apart from the language you choose, the interpretation responds to the phonetic language (not to the written one). I recommend that you initially choose English. And I think that the best way to get into this program is to select Phrases, and from there try the presets.
Important: to try the presets, delete before trying the previous letters
Thank you both. I found that it takes a lot of learning. Although I still havenāt had the words to utter it so absolutely brilliant it sounded like āpig Germanā on top of the melody. Anyone who knows how to use it smoothly is a great program. Actually, thatās exactly the program, the song Iāve been longing for. Whatās coolest is that Sounds like great sounds.
This is WB Phonetic Alphabet Reference: http://media.soundsonline.com/docs/EW-WordBuilder-Phonetic-Alphabet-Reference.pdf
In fact, I even removed the BIAB program that got space on my hard drive. BIAB is too boring a program. I mean, it doesnāt make that kind of music what itās possible to do, like Scaler and Daw and other great programs on top.
I think thatās something we all do at some point. We tried programs, vsts, vsti, etc. In a few moments you think that these programs will help you, and the truth is that if you donāt try them, you donāt know, of course. But then you need disk space, and one day you remove half of what you installed last monthā¦until you find a situation that makes you feel comfortable for your way of making music. And that doesnāt mean that those programs you remove are bad; In fact, it happens to me that every so often I reinstall them, giving them a second chance (while removing others that I thought would work better for me).
Actually, if we think about it, we are lucky because in other times (and not so long ago) this thing of being able to install and uninstall programs, try them, etc. it was a task that took too long
You are absolutely right, JosƩ. The best thing is to test them in a Virtual Machine and if we like them, we install on our real partition. If not or if there are some technical issues, we simply scrap the VM and go back to a previous snapshot. There are free VM so this is not difficult.
well, in the meanwhile I found I had iLok in my PC and I wasnāt aware of
Nevertheless, I am realizing that using that āvocalizerā is not easy at all
so I think Iāll wait some time, to see if it becomes easier
Well, i donāt think this will become easier, but some of us will have more experience to share with the others.
Yes, but there are other developers that are working on the same engines, so Iāll wait seated on the riverā¦
and in the meanwhileā¦
I sent you an email to explain
I have EastWest backup singers too. I use it all the time, its very, very good.
Now AI voices are getting better and better.
Check out this thread for the latest on Synthesizer V:
Claudio, congratulations. I have never entered a word (other than random garbage) into Google, and got NO hits ā¦ zero, zilch, nada, nothing. Sadly, I did not get the explanation, so it will forever be a mysteryā¦
OK, @yorkeman Iāll send an email to you as well
BTW, considering how well is indexed the Scaler website, I suspect my brand-new term will appear soon in google searches
That writing of words has been made impossible for the author. Quite insanely difficult or I still havenāt gotten into it so I donāt understand how it happens. However, something positive about their products. I really liked their Goliath package. It has a great amount of great sounding sounds and instruments.
I had that space issue with Biab and then I found that it works when I just installed the entire program on an external drive and just plug it in when I want to use it.
Just make sure it is an SSD drive.
I also do that with my Kontakt libraries.(of which I have many)
When I find a library I want to use for a song, I just copy that folder to my drive and use it, then delete it when I am done.
Typically I have 4-5 external hddās that I use for that.
I have one for my samples and loops, one for Kontakt, one for Biab, and one for backups of my programs and priojects.
I also use a multiport Usb hub that has switches for the ports. Just turn one on when I want to use that drive. When you turn it off, it does not show up on the computer.
I have considered using external hard drives. I just didnāt know that the programs work through them, too. Good to know ā¦ nowadays programs take up a lot of space and the number just seems to be growing all the time. 1GT is not enough for yourself. I currently need about 2000 Gt of space to accommodate everything I would like. Admittedly, at some point you are going to buy a new IMac with 32G or 64G of memory. With the current iMac, itās almost impossible to make music because thereās 8G of memory and anyway, itās already almost 10 years old.

this is interesting!
with it, you lower the risk of failures and increase the lifecycle
can I know the name of your device?
this is one that I have in our computer room. it is a 2.0

And this, is the 3.0 hub I own.

Niether of them requires a power source.
