A flat aug in A minor scale

I’m setting the chord progression in A minor and tried to find A flat aug chord but I couldn’t even find it in chord variation for A minor.any one know how to reach the chord?

Thanks

Hi @violin20,

Ab aug or also named G# aug chord and A min can be found in a scale having the G# not G so A minor is having a natural G if you want to have the Ab aug (also named G# aug) chord you have to look for a scale having a G#/Ab like for instance the A Harmonic Minor scale then when browsing the Variations go the the Leading tone (7th degree) : G#/Ab and from there you will have the variations chords having a G#/Ab as root :

Hope that helps,
Cheers,
Paul
