Can Scaler help me write a Chinese / Japanese melody?

Hi everyone,

I began to use Scaler and like the software very much.

This is my question.

What if I want to write a melody based on a Chinese or Japanese scale?

Is there such a scale in Scaler?

Yes if you look under world music you will see several south East Asian style scales mainly based around the pentatonic and widely used in Japanese and Chinese Music. Look for Ritsusen, Major and Minor Pentatonic, Man Gong Pentatonic and Oriental Scales
