Canon chord progression in the famous work by Johann Pachelbel, considered to be a founding father of the Canon, has the following form: D → A → Bm → F#m → G → D → G → A, displaying slight periodic movement which is produced by the repeating chord sequence. Seems fairly easy to input those manually.

This is the most common. There are many songs adapted from Canon. It sounds good too. I think we can make a collection.

D- A/C# -Bm -Am -G -Gm -D -A

D-A/C# -Bm -D/A -G -D/F# -Bm -Em -A

I tried a canon last year by doing just that. Sounds pretty good too IMHO. Stream Canon Redux 22 by Phil Arcman | Listen online for free on SoundCloud
