Can't drop midi into scaler 2

Hello all, I am working with logic 10.5 and just got scaler 2. I am finding that I can’t drop any files either midi or waves onto scaler. when I drag the file there and let it go, nothing happens. Anyone else getting this??? Thanks

are you able to drop those same files into Logic’s timeline?

Scaler’s window should become darker when you drop a file onto it. Then it prompts you with a warning that Scaler will create a new detection. Have you seen any of those things?

It always says that scaler only detects .mid files or .wav files in the dialouge box when I try to drag them in. But yes I can drop the apple waves into an open project.
