is there a feature to change - the chords higher up - in my case darker ( they’re all really bright sounding
from the top menu part

If you want to change the pitch of all the blocks in a pattern go to the EDIT page.
Select all the chords in the pattern by lassoing them
and change the pitch up or down
If you want to change the pitch of individual blocks go to the CHORD page you will find an option to change the pitch of chords in Section C +/- octave.
