Chords not triggering in bind mode with computer keyboard

Hi everyone,

Im new to music production and am working with scaler 2 and a VST handpan plugin in windows and abelton live 11. Im having challenges with the bindings triggering on my keyboard. When I go to play off my computer keyboard (in bind mode (B)) its not playing/triggering the chords. Ive tried going up and down and octave by pressing “x” and “z” and that’s not working either. Any ideas on what the issue may be here? Thanks so much and appreciate your help!

Hard to know what you are doing here but let’s eliminate a few things:

  1. Do you have BIND turned on in Scaler 2? (Lit button to the right hand side of section B)
  2. Does the Ableton keyboard play other instruments?
  3. Does Scaler 2 produce audio when you trigger by clicking directly on the chord boxes?
