i Make deep house music I’m a big fan of Mike Huckaby rip.
I really love scaler but one thing i quickly realized is the music i love isn’t especially harmonic.
I think with influences of sampling & gospel & jazz chromatic.
Chords generally fall into a chromic progression rather than harmonic. It gives the music more tension.
i’m wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience of this? where chords are maybe all minor 9ths? Is there much literature about this?
