Create Mode from Scaler 1

Hi,

so far I used scalar 1 without any midi keyboard. I just selected notes of a chord in the create mode and then scaler detected the scale for a set of chords. How can I do that in scalar 2. I just created a pattern but scalar is not showing the scale.

Cheers

I’m not sure I am understanding well here. You can hit the record button and click the scaler keyboard to create chords and detect. You can also ht the + button in an empty box on section C to create a chord. You can select a multitude of chords and detection those, plenty of options.

Thx… I use the + button in an empty box on section C to create a chord. But when I have a pattern the scale is not shown directly. But the workaround seems to be that I have to save the pattern as a user preset and then load it. Then the scale is shown. Seems to be more complicate then in scaler 1. As you said the recording directly works for showing the scale.

Right click on the pattern or multiple chords and ‘DETECT’ is your friend!
