Yes Ive tried BlueArp as well. Its got a bigger learning curve for most people. Blue Arp would work well also. Scaler also has a built arp function if you just want to use that feature. Maybe not all the movement options but is of course fun
I am using both, and I feel that they are not in competition to each other, but rather complement each other. I find BlueArp rather complex, and RandArp rather simple but powerful. They can even be daisychained with each other. So I would say, neither is preferable for one of the other, but try a mixture of both, especially given they are both free
