What does „Generate parallel harmony“ exactly do?

Create one chord or select one from scaler. Want to play it up and down the keyboard? That’s what theorists call parallel harmony and how the majority of dance music was made I the late eighties partly due to lack of music theory and the accessibility of samplers.
Basically it plays the same chord up and down he keyboard chromatically.
