I think the Pad Section is good, but I would prefer it was more graphical, like many midi tracks.
I often find changing the Timings a bit hit-and-miss. It would be good if you could just drag the chord regions to the timing you prefer.
I’ve used Logic as an example.

I think this would be more familiar to most and usable. It could also incorporate both Edit and Pad as one section.
You could still Right Click to get other options.
