How-to: add variability to UJAM Virtual Pianist

Hi pals

As many knows, sample-based plugins produce cool riffs etc. but after some time they sound like a deja-vu, and this it applies to UJAM Virtual Pianist as well, but 2 Scaler instances and a MIDI track can make the mojo, how?

It is showed by the 2 screen-shots below

The first Scaler gives a series of chords in the UJAM Virtual Pianist chords area (red circle)

A second Scaler instead, sends notes in the Articulation area (blue circle) so changing the sound a lot, based on the keys hit by the second Scaler

But there are keys that can ruin the output, like e.g. the Stop button, so a MIDI Polysher track lets you avoid hitting unwanted keys

Now, using the MIDI Polysher again, move left/right the keys hit in the Articulation area, and you’ll have tons of new piano lines, automatically

~ This looks fun

  1. Any Cakewalk users know how to setup the routing for this?
  2. @ClaudioPorcellana How are you making the MIDIPolysher keys green?
also, is Scaler using MULTI-VOICE OUTPUT?

What do you mean exactly?
I use MIDIPolysher to send the output of the second Scaler instance to the Articulation area of the piano (as you see I used -7 that is one octave low), to stop Scaler hitting the Chords area (already used by the first Scaler instance), AND ALSO to stop Scaler hitting the Stop button of the piano

also, is Scaler using MULTI-VOICE OUTPUT?

No, just one output
