Hi @swingmix the Generate Parallel Harmony option will create a series of duplicate chords at the specified interval. So selecting this option from a minor triad will create a series of minor triad chords. The chords generated are not diatonic or consistent with your selected scale.

i see threads like this and realize, i really should just take a Scaler class. seems i would learn relatively faster than the stumble on gems approach.
