See my note above. There are 2 Scalers. Just put Scaler on 2 tracks set to monitor and set one to chord and one to scale. Easy as can be.
No he is not clicking on the pad. They are in Bind. He’s playing from his keyboard.

Yes. He is using the keyboard. My DAW is STUDIO ONE
So, the question becomes how to control two SCALERs using the keyboard?
Or STUDIO ONE’s virtual keyboard.
I found a way.
Instrument overlay feature, dragging that new instrument from the browser onto the same track. Then click combine to have a multi instrument

Yes that is what I was doing, by using something we call a track stack in logic that controls all instruments included in the track stack.

Every time you learn about the latest version of SCALER, it takes some time.
Every time I get familiar with it, I find SCALER is much better.
I particularly like “fixed bass”, which can be seen in many styles of music.
