My Logic project is 80bpm. If I Capture MIDI in scaler and drag it to the timeline, Logic asks if I want to import tempo information. If click yes, the MIDI is imported, but my project changes to 120bpm. Does anyone know why is this is happening?
That’s Logics default behaviour, I would choose don’t import and don’t ask again as every plugin will run an internal clock and that may drive you mad. No need to import audio the dragged midi will adapt to your DAW tempo. Hope that helps.
