Pattern playback in daw stops when switching pattern

HI I noticed that when play is engaged in the DAW (Bitwig) and we click a new pattern (in the c section) everything stops. Is that normal?

I tried to recreate it in my DAW (FL) by:

  • drawing some notes on Scaler track
  • creating 2 patterns in section C
  • pressing (main) Play of DAW
  • switching between patterns
  • pressing New Pattern in section C

Nothing stops so I guess it’s not normal.
By saying ‘everything stops’ do you mean playback stops or DAW crashes?

I would also suggest moving the post to ‘Support’ and adding Bitwig tag :wink:

ok I got it working. I have to engage Transport Looping ON in Bitwig to get it to work
