What are your thoughts on incorporating a piano roll tab for the perform option? For example if I’ve selected one of the bass pattern presets, I can then click a tab and adjust the notes on the step sequencer to my liking. You could select options for showing scale notes and chord notes. With the linking of multiple scalers you could then open a second one. The bass notes are showing as lighter/shaded notes and you could then adjust a melody.

There have been several requests for this or something like it over the years. Until something like that appears I would look at Phrasebox by Venomode. If you’re patient you’ll often find it on sale. Although of course if you’re patient, you may find something like that in Scaler as well.
