Problems loading Scalar in PC

I’m trying to download the Scalar software on my PC windows 10 computer…I followed the instruction you tube video and install directions. The Scalar File that downloaded in my C Drive downloads is Scaler-1.8.0.pkg

When I click on the file scaler-1.8.0 pkg file to get to the zip file that has the exe–it does not open. I get a computer prompt asking me how I want to open a PKG file. Appreciate any help Rodger

The .pkg file is for MacOS, you can download the .exe version for Windows from the Plugin Boutique website on your account’s page.
