Scaler 2.9.1 CRASHING in Reaper 6, Windows 11

Hi folks,

I’m using Reaper 6 and Scaler 2 seems to crash every so often. Causing Reaper itself to shut down completely.

I’m not sure exactly what is causing this.

Would Reaper 7 prevent this?

I’m away from my PC don’t have all details right now sorry.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

I do not have these issues with Reaper 7, nor did I have any with Reaper 6 but I upgraded to Reaper 7 before Scaler 2.9.1 was released…

Thanks for the response, I’m wondering if maybe the new Scaler update isn’t communicating well with Reaper 6.

I’ll try a few solutions I’ve seen on older posts like moving the VST to its own folder and see if that helps. I don’t particularly want to upgrade to Reaper 7 and pay £60 for the sake of one plugin :joy:

Just diving into Scaler properly, great software for a guitarist like myself who is crap at Piano. Cheers!
