Scaler 2 Startup screen does not load in Studio One 5

Black screen. However, Scaler 2 launches start up page and functions correct on same laptop within Cakewalk Bandcamp. Most current versions of Studio One 5 and Scaler 2.6 in use.

If you are experiencing a black screen try turning off OpenGL ----

the fact that the screen stays black points to a graphic issue, either a missing GPU driver or an incompatible OpenGL version.

You can disable OpenGL Rendering from the ScalerSettings application:

  • Press the Windows key to open the search and type “ ScalerSettings ”
  • Go to the Help page and click “Turn OFF OpenGL”:
